The Somali Women Peace and Security Centre (SWPSC) organized a heartwarming Eid celebration event for 120 underprivileged children and 50 Somali mothers living in displacement camps in Deynile District, Mogadishu.
The event aimed to ensure that these families, despite their vulnerable circumstances, could celebrate Eid with dignity, happiness, and a sense of belonging within the broader community. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and solidarity.
Children and mothers received Eid clothes, gifts, and refreshments, but more importantly, they were embraced with love and compassion a reminder that they are not alone and that their well-being matters to all of us.
This initiative was not only about material support but also a message of unity, care, and shared humanity, reinforcing that lasting peace and happiness come from acts of kindness and collective responsibility.
SWPSC remains committed to uplifting marginalized communities, promoting social cohesion, and ensuring that no one is left behind especially during moments of celebration and hope.
